The kitchen is today no more place of fulfillment of daily duties only, but formative design element of a building. And like the total interior design of a house the kitchen as well with its surfaces is based on design trends. After the desire of customers to a blacker than black has actually been getting louder, Dorfner faced this technically challenging task. The result is GRANUCOL® Mix Black+.

GRANUCOL® Mix Black+ is the latest generation of Dorfner colored sand mixes, which fulfills due to its very homogenous deep black color the requirements of modern kitchen design. This mix is based on the proven GRANUCOL® colored sands, which are common fillers for quartz kitchen sinks. By using a new black pigment, which is able to withstand even high temperature changes in kitchen sink applications, a further significant blushing improvement of finished sink is facilitated. This means a recognizable added value for the enduser: The desired high quality and modern “blacker than black”.

For our customers the use of this new GRANUCOL® Mix doesn´t mean any changes for production process. Same recommendations apply for processing like for other GRANUCOL® Mixes. Yet this Mix is an innovation, which is of use for labor protection. Even without use of silica dust GRANUCOL® Mix black+ has the same high filling rate, the user is knowing from Dorfner GRANUCOL® Mixes .
