Vocational students get their first taste of Dorfner

At out Hirschau site, we recently received a visit from 2nd-year industrial mechanics from Amberg vocational school.

The apprentices and their class teacher, Mr. Pugner, took a tour of the Dorfner factory in Hirschau with keen interest. They were introduced to the work processes for sand finishing and were amazed at the large systems and vehicles. The highlight was probably the trip through the open pit with a huge dump truck – something that was sure to make a few childhood dreams come true.

Following an informative tour of the company premises, the vocational school students received a few small gifts in the training workshop. The taster day was rounded off with a meal in the café on Monte Kaolino.
